Hijo de la Luna: Son of the Moon

Once upon a time in a magical land far far away, where spirits still ruled the heart of mankind, lived one solitary gypsy woman, in a house made of despair. Although she's alone, she's not happy with it. The gypsy woman always dreams to get married, unfortunately fate was not on her side. So one night, in a shine of the full moon, she prayed for a husband to the moon itself. She begged in tears until dawn. The moon heard the prayer, and replied,

"You'll have your man, tawny skin...but in return i want the first child that you have with him. Because she who sacrifices her child so that she is not alone, isn't likely to love it very much.."

The gypsy woman can't asked for more. Happily, she accepted the agreement, and her new husband. Months have passed, and the child finally born. Strangely, their son had a pale white skin like an ermine, and grey eyes, unlike his father's cinnamon skin and olive eyes. This made the gypsy man enraged,

"Damn his appearance! This is not a gypsy man son, and i will not put up with that.."

Believing to be dishonoured by his wife adultery play, the gypsy man then killed the innocent gypsy woman. Afterwards, he carries the albino infant to the woodlands on the mountain and abandoned the child. By doing so, the gypsy man fulfilled the moon's will. The moon took the promised son to the sky to be with her, and on the nights when the moon is full, it is because the child is in a good mood, and if the child cries, the moon wanes to make it a cradle.

"Moon, you want to be a mother, but you cannot find a lover who makes you a woman. Tell me silver moon, what you intend to do with a child of flesh...son of the moon."
